My very first  scrapping weekend..........We have been -  We have seen  &   boy oh boy ! ...did we conquer...............What a blast.....bring on next year .....

CreatEscape 2010  was the Innaugural  Escape Weekend for the Naomi Elliott team.  The weekend was held at  "Adare"  at Victor Harbour.   A beautiful old Mansion  -(  herein known as  "the Castle"  )  set in beautiful surroundings overlooking the bay ...  Our creative room was fully glassed so we could all see the view

We scrapped - we laughed - We scrapped - we ate -  We scrapped -  we shared ideas - We scrapped..and then scrapped some more........We attended lessons,  we did our own thing...we watched others doing their own thing  ... We may have had our Pyjamas on - but we didnt sleep !!

I didnt know quite what to expect........but now i do ....there will be no holding me back ....BEWARE !!

First Prize - TTD competition

At each Team Training day ,  we are invited to sumbit a project - using  any of the New Pre Released products.   Prizes are awarded on a voting system of   1st,  2nd & 3rd.    This year i have sumbitted a Page & Pockets layout - using stamps from our Australian Theme.  My layout theme was of "  An Outback Wedding".     I won 1st Prize  (  i'm a bit chuffed )

Team Training Day & New Products

"  What a fantastic day i had on Saturday:.     Kaszazz TTD was held across the nation on Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th  May 2010.   I attended the TTD at Maswon Lakes which was hosted by  Senior Team Manager - Debbie Dawson on Sat 15th.... The day was excitment packed -  with the release of  hundreds of New Products in our range.    Funky Blooms was the theme of this release  -  stamps - bright flowers - bright card essentials range - smooch spritz...with many of my "  new best favourites" & more...more...more...   Kaszazz has released a new supplement -  Just give me a call & i will post 1 out to you.

We completed 2 workshops using the new products -   with Cards in the morning & scrapbook 'Page and Pocket' layout in the afternoon.    both fabulous & even though my main " love"  is cardmaking  i am taken by the scrapbook page .just love it !!  the colours here do not do them justice -  they are so vibrant in real life.........

I was  asked to design a page for Emma & Sarah who have recently been to a Cliff Richard concert.   They had some taken some fantastic - very colourful photos  so i needed to not over do the colour for the background -  SO.... what better than Black and Silver !!   In this double page layout i have used stamping and embossing  ...quick and easy pages.........
( Inspired  jointly by Julie Lambert ( layout in pink)and  the Black and Silver butterfly cards that we recently did in a workshop at Mawson lakes

New Product - Romance bling - card kit 1381

I have just finished making up my Romance bling Card kit.   The kit contains everything you need to make 14 cards - all you need are scissors & some tape  (  i also had a bottle of Ice Stickles & some magic mount )

I actually managed to make 16 cards - and also made 3 gift tags  with some shabby chic roses for embellishemnts...plus - still have enough to make about 3 more gift tags !!

What great value....these are great kits to take on holidays with you to make up  in your spare time **  especially all you Caravaners like me **

MARCH NEWS

Hi Everyone -  how quickly time flys - already it is March - Xmas is all but forgotten & Easter is just about here !!  I was horrified to find Easter Eggs in the Shops straight after New Year  - So i just closed my mind to Easter..now it is here i had better get prepared..

The last 2 weeks have been sooooo busy - my head is stilll spinning -  Hens nights / Weddings / 60th Birthdays / Scrapbook pages to create / country workshops / city workshops /  Training /  CREATORS BLOCK  !!!!   AHHHHHHHH !!!  -  but i just love it all ...........

Thank goodness for Kaszazz and all of their wonderful creative people -  i can offer some of their creations as my workshops ...Have a   "SNEEK PEEK" -  these workshops will be coming soon..

SCRAPBOOKING

Have a look at this great Layout - I just loved it ! Our Thursday Night Scrapbook girls re-created this page ( minus the Pink Cow). Techniques we used were Smooch spritzing , Stamping and Creating Paper Flowers.... created in Pinks & burgandy with some heritage green....very Shabby Chic !!!

I will be doing this class again for sure !!

How cute are these !!    This is the Becky Bear workshop that i ran in January...of course i had to add some  Icestickles to her bow & some Bling on her button !

I also re-created the same cards  last week but added some ribbon etc.....
